    Its pretty bad. Ive kept reading the series in hopes of the new author getting better but this is the worst book yet. Im throwing in the white towel giving up on this series.

    I concur with many of the other readers’ reviews. I never really understood what this book was about, it had too many characters and was an extremely disappointing read. I love the Reacher character but I don’t think his skills were showcased enough in this particular book.

    Much too complicated a plot. Child is reaching too far to make this work. Most of these are great stories. This one - not so much.

    Pretty boring, not like the Reacher of old!

    Reads like it was writing for high school kids. Seemed like a waste of time to work through it, even skimming many pages. I felt somewhat the same way with the last one. I won’t be buying another Reacher novel.
