Another convoluted plot. The twist is that others, not Reacher, figured what the bad guys were smuggling.
If you want to experience Reacher, read the book

My introduction to the Jack Reacher character was the movie “Jack Reacher” based on the book “One Shot” starring Tom Cruise. It peaked my interest, so I read Child’s first Reacher novel “Killing Floor” and was hooked. Since then I’ve purchased all of the Reacher novels and short stories actually written by Lee Child (sorry, his brother Andrew, who inherited the series just doesn’t write as well as Lee). I re-read them all every couple of years to get my Reacher fix. But to know Jack Reacher you just have to read the books. While Cruise did a good job of capturing the Reacher character’s intellect, it was impossible for him to pull off the physical presence. The current Reacher in the Amazon “Reacher” series has the physicality but not the acting chops (or bad writers). In fact my last re-read of the Reacher novels was a reaction to watching the Amazon series, I had to get that dude out of my brain! Every reader has their own idea of what Reacher looks like, I picture someone who is a cross between Lee Child himself and an even larger version of the Wolverine character played by Hugh Jackman.
Another Gem!

Another solid book by Mr. Child! I hope Jack Reacher lives for eternity.

Again too much descriptions. At least the story is good. It’s told in the Third Person of course. The ending is not good. It just wraps itself up. On to the next one.
Never go back
