Everly can't wait to leave her creepy hometown forever. She just has to clear out her family's antique store and avoid thinking about her unrequited childhood crush. But her plan and heart are shattered when she watches him die at the hands of a nightmarish monster.

Nobody believes what she saw because his body has vanished, and as Everly desperately searches for answers, his spirit haunts her dreams and warns her away: Do not look. Do not pry. RUN…before it's too late.

Holding onto the hope he can be saved, Everly races to unravel the mystery in time to reunite his body and soul. But Everly's hometown is crawling with dark secrets and nothing is as it seems. As monsters emerge, something powerful also stirs within Everly that could destroy them all.

I’ve always been a big fan of Selina’s writing and she does not disappoint with the first book in this new urban fantasy series. Full of terrifying creatures that go bump in the night, mystery, intrigue and love that transcends life and death. This series is going to be absolutely phenomenal and I can’t wait to read the next book!!
  • Good book with Great Characters

This was a good story. I will continue with the series to see what happens. I like the idea but the flow of the story was a bit rocky. There were spelling mistakes and grammar issues too which I completely understand. You can’t catch everything. But don’t let that sway you from reading. It’s a good storyline and some great characters. I can’t wait to see how the author fleshes them out and who they become. A heroine I can relate to and with magic and mystery this has the potential to be a great series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
