This was a wonderful story that included an important reminder to live life fully. It resonated with me deeply.

Great book. Romance, suspense, never knowing what turn was next, engaging, realistic. The hardest part was reading it on an iPad and not really knowing how much was left of the story. Didn’t want it to end.

Life hands us lemons, but a decision has to be made to turn the lemons into lemonade. The unexpected happens to have a second chance with life, family & love. Change is good for for us even though our thoughts to get through them is difficult sometimes. Easy reading and a must read to add to your reading list.

I’m so glad that I picked this book to read. The characters are very interesting and realistic. I love how Renee picked herself up and reclaimed her life when she lost her job. She’s extremely lucky to have the great family that she does. Not everyone is so lucky. Keep this series going…. I’m a reader for life!

I liked Renee immediately and loved that she was a mature, intelligent woman. I also liked the other characters in the novel; but I thought the book was too long. There was too much detail about the remodeling of the property. And I would have liked more about the family dynamic instead, including more about aunt Cecile. And does every author have to have steamy sex scenes to hold the reader’s attention? I would like to read another book about this feisty woman, and will recommend it to my book club.
