Excellent world building and great character development. It was a pleasure to read and see the hope building in this world. I enjoyed the variety of characters, and it made the world building entertaining.

This book was the best choice for a warm fuzzy read at Christmas. Can’t thank TJ Klune for writing this. Being part of the LGBTQ community, I can appreciate the joy of chosen family and finding love in a place when you least expect it.

Kline has written perhaps the single most heartwarming, beautiful work of art that there is to experience in the fantasy genre. This book is an 11/10 and is worth every minute spent reading it- it is a treatise on the joys of life and the choices we are privileged to make in them!

This is hands down the most beautiful book I’ve read this year. It’s brimming with warmth and filled with valuable, uplifting lessons that are easy to overlook in everyday life. I was completely captivated and couldn’t put it down.
  • A truly moving book

I simply adored this book, and that is coming from a non-reader. As someone who identifies with the LGBTQ+ community, I found the message against hate, prejudice, and judgement resonate with me in a way words can barely describe. If you are thinking of reading this book, I suggest it, if you aren’t, I suggest hat you are.

And all the other descriptive adjectives. Truly enjoyed the 2nd reading as much as the 1st. Linus really danced on my nerves but he redeems himself.
  • Great characters, great heart
