The writing in this book is just so smooth. There is no adornment; no “trying too hard” to sound literate or intelligent or writer-like. Demi just crushes the narrative construction by giving you her experience without any extra “stuff”. Her vulnerability as-written is extraordinary.

Just wow. I was blown away at how relatable and yet extraordinary her life is. I got through it in a few nights. I couldn’t put it down. Honestly, it’s really insightful and worth reading.

There were many parts of this book that I could relate to, and it brought home once again that fame and money do not automatically guarantee an easy road in life. I would like to thank Miss Moore for writing so honestly about the pitfalls of succumbing to escapism, whether it's through chemicals or obsession with a lover while still an active mother. It took guts to write this book.

This was riveting, beautiful, and incredibly well written. Demi gives every detail needed for you to fully understand each of her experiences and stories. It’s relatable and a fantastic read.

This is a beautiful story of self discovery. This woman went through so much at a young age. I’m in awe of her self reflection.

Minus the wealth, her story is so familiar to Gen X. Parents who never parented. I loved reading the fun details, and I loved the good cry some pages brought. The behind the scenes stories of her movies is a great read. I recommend this book to anyone struggling. Look around, obviously we are all just trying to figure life out and our purpose in it. Not a Demi Moore fan but I thought this was a good one

It’s like I was literally reading depictions out of my own life. Reading that it is possible to cope with addiction and learning that it is also possible to love and forgive yourself was what I needed to hear. Thank you Demi.

Wow. What a remarkable journey to look deeper inside of myself this book has taken me on.

Love the way the author narrated the story without holding back but also without shifting blame or judging others. She honors her family and those who were part of her journey. My respect for Demi has grown as I read this in two days. Would recommend this book to anyone who are on the path to self discovery and acceptance.
